Water ResourcesThe Ohio State Univ., Columbus, OH. Ministry of Irrigation, A. P., HimShakti, India Lambdanets is working with these agencies in the vast area of water resource management. Lambdanets is currrently involved in th Krishna water lift irrigation project, through our chief engineer, Mr. R. Ramakrishniah. Management of water resources is very crucial for developing Nations, such as India. Estimation of various water resources – lakes, rivers, ground water, etc. and utilization of the water for drinking, commercial use, irrigation, and hydroelectric power generation is crucial. Lambdanets, working with various agencies, would like to participate in these activities with use of emerging and new technologies, such as GIS and Remote Sensing, new irrigation techniques. Lambdanets In this area, Lambdanets is working with Center for Mapping and with Irrigation experts, such as Prof. Larry Brown, Director of International Program for Water Managemnet at the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. Lambdanets is working with the Ministry of Irrigation in Andhra Pradesh, India. Lambdanets is working with HimShakti in the area of mini hydro-electric power generation. Lambdanets working with these players would like to seek and undertake major initiatives from agencies, such as the Govt. Of India, United Nations and World Bank. |
