IT and Advanced Computing Lambdanets has extensive experience in the area of IT, Advanced Computing, and applications. This is a primary focus area that cuts across various other applications areas such as, GIS. Lambdanets is currently pursuing projects in the following areas: Parallel and Distributed Computing Focus on development and application of distributed and parallel computing. We are exploring developing of middleware solutions for internet-based high performance computing, network and resource allocation, search and database management and parallel and distributed I/O. We are also developing techniques/programs for semi-automatic distribution and management of distributing applications on the net. We are exploring systems programming for exploitation and optimal use of high-performance disks, such as semiconductor disks. We are working with Dr. Peter Varman of Rice Univ., Keith Fritze of Curtis Inc., Ravi Shankar of Hexasoft, Australia. Speech Applications Lambdanets is focusing on development of speech applications for markets in India using speech application tools from companies such as Nuance, IBM, and Microsoft and Voice XML technologies.
